Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the "00" type, which means the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content. The variety was used as a standard in comparative trials of yield and adaptability of new hybrid lines.

The plant possesses genetically determined resistance to phoma stem canker caused by the fungus Leptosphaeria maculans, due to the presence of Rlm2 and Rlm9 genes. Due to its well-studied nature, the variety was often used in breeding programs as a parent line or a differential sample for testing pathogen pathotypes.
