The variety is characterized by relatively low winter hardiness compared to a number of other varieties. Cold acclimatization processes, including changes in protein composition and the accumulation of sugars and proline, occur more slowly in it, which reduces survival during the winter period.
In production trials, the variety demonstrated low yield. For scientific purposes, it is often used as a model object for studying the physiology of winter rapeseed, in particular for analyzing the composition of cell wall polysaccharides and adaptation mechanisms in terminal buds and root necks.
