Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a winter F1 hybrid created based on the MSL male sterility system. The crop is intended for cultivation as an oilseed plant.

During selection and field trials, the variety demonstrated good winter hardiness. In scientific publications, it was frequently mentioned in studies of fungal diseases of rapeseed, such as Alternaria blight and Phoma stem canker, as an object for monitoring.

As a first-generation hybrid, Kasimir was developed to improve yield and oil content indicators compared to line varieties of its period. In modern industrial production, the variety is no longer used, having given way to newer hybrids.
