The Gringo variety was classified as a winter oilseed rape hybrid. In the early 2010s, it appeared in the descriptive lists of varieties of a number of European countries, including Germany and the Czech Republic.
Technical characteristics of the variety, such as height, disease resistance, and quality parameters, were contained in the archival reports of variety testing stations of that period. At the current moment, the variety does not belong to the actual commercial products.
