The winter oilseed rape variety Mika is archival, as it was registered more than 20 years ago. Due to the long period since its withdrawal from active commercial circulation, detailed morphological descriptions of this variety are absent from open publications.
The modern hybrid KWS Mikados, which is sometimes confused with the variety Mika, belongs to the mid-maturing group. It is characterized by high winter hardiness, resistance to Phoma, pod shattering, and tolerance to TuYV, Alternaria, Verticillium wilt, and Sclerotinia. Its intended use is oilseed production.
