The variety is a representative of the Lacinato type, also known as Tuscan or dinosaur kale. The vegetation period until technical maturity is about 60 days, with early harvesting possible at the baby-leaf stage.
The plant reaches a height of 60 to 90 cm and forms long upright stems. The leaves are characterized by a deep puckered texture and a very dark blue-green color.
