Variety description

10 August 2026

Mid-late hybrid, the period from germination to technical maturity is about 90 days. The plant forms a semi-vertical rosette, resembling a small palm tree, stem height varies from 70 to 150 cm. The weight of one plant is from 200 to 700 g.

Leaves are intensely curly, ruffled, dark burgundy or purple-violet in color. The variety possesses high cold tolerance, withstands frosts down to –15...–18°C, and is suitable for cultivation in the autumn-winter period. The taste of the leaves becomes more pronounced after exposure to the first frosts.

The plant is used in cooking for preparing soups, salads, smoothies, freezing, and as an ornamental crop for landscaping flower beds.
