The plant forms large, dense, round, and slightly flattened at the top heads. Leaf blades are dark green in color, sometimes having a reddish-violet tint, with a distinctly crinkled surface. The inner part of the head is yellowish-white. The height of a mature plant varies from 40 to 60 cm, and the stalk can reach 15–20 cm.
The variety is late-maturing and suitable for harvesting in late autumn and early winter due to its resistance to frost. The produce has good keeping quality and is intended for culinary processing, including the preparation of soups, stewing, and cabbage rolls.
