The variety is cold-resistant and capable of withstanding short-term frosts down to -8 °C. It is an open-pollinated (non-hybrid) variety, suitable for seed saving. It is primarily for amateur use and is suitable for culinary processing.
Seeds are sown between May and July with a recommended planting scheme of 40×40 cm or 60×40–60 cm. The main harvest period falls between October and December.
