Variety description

10 August 2026

Sting F1 is a late-maturing hybrid for open field cultivation with a growing period of about 135 days after transplanting. The plant possesses a powerful root system and forms dense, round heads weighing from 2 to 4.5 kg with a small internal core. The cover leaves have a dark green color, are distinguished by a fine structure and the absence of coarse veins.

The hybrid is characterized by resistance to Fusarium, thrips, and bacteriosis, as well as the ability to adapt to various soils and weather conditions. The produce is distinguished by high keeping quality, is capable of being stored for about 8 months without a tendency to crack, and is suitable for transportation, fresh consumption, and sauerkraut production.
