Variety description

10 August 2026

The root vegetables have a flat, slightly convex shape at the bottom and smooth skin, colored light red or red-violet in the above-ground part. Under favorable conditions, the root diameter reaches 15–18 cm. The flesh of the root is white and succulent, however, it may lose density when overripe.

The plant has abundant broad foliage and is characterized by rapid development. The variety shows good drought tolerance and is capable of adapting to granite and shale soils. It is an open-pollinated variety, not an F1 hybrid.

Sowing of the variety is carried out in two periods: spring from March to May and autumn from July to September. The root vegetables are consumed raw or cooked, with young specimens possessing the highest taste quality.
