The variety is a perennial plant with a usage period of 3–4 years. It is characterized by medium plant height in spring and a medium degree of leaf fineness. High nutritional value is provided by the content of energy, proteins, and sugars.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness and good drought tolerance. The variety is suitable for sowing in mixtures with legumes, such as Trifolium pratense or Medicago sativa. Recommended sowing dates are in spring (March–April) or late summer (August–September) with a seeding rate of about 40 kg/ha.
