The variety is a compact, rounded shrub. In container cultivation, the plant height usually does not exceed 1 meter; in the open field, with regular pruning, it reaches 1.5 meters. The foliage has the gray-green hue characteristic of the species.

The plant is intended for ornamental landscaping. Flowering is abundant; if spent inflorescences are removed, repeat flowering is possible. The variety possesses winter hardiness comparable to species plants and is adapted to European climatic conditions.
