The variety with breeding code ARTBUD 1576, also known under the commercial name Summerkids Micki, is a compact form of Buddleja davidii. The plant was developed as part of a breeding program aimed at creating dwarf and semi-dwarf varieties for landscaping confined spaces.
This variety is optimized for use as a container crop on terraces, patios and balconies, as well as for decorative landscaping in gardens. Its morphological characteristics allow it to avoid the intense growth typical of wild Buddleja species, which reach 3–4 meters in height.
