The ARTBUD 1583 variety, which has the commercial name Summerkids Sophie, is a low-growing shrub. Unlike the species forms of Buddleja davidii, which reach 3–4 meters in height, this variety is characterized by its compact size, making it suitable for keeping in containers on balconies and terraces.
The plant is winter hardy and relatively easy to care for. Like other representatives of Buddleja davidii, the shrub possesses decorative properties and attracts butterflies.
