Variety description

The plant is a compact shrub 60–90 cm tall with a symmetrical rounded crown and strong branches. The leaves are colored silvery-green. Panicles of a saturated blue-violet shade appear from the beginning of summer and persist until the first frosts.

The variety is sterile and non-invasive, as it forms a minimal amount of seeds. The plant is winter hardy (USDA zone 5–9, down to -20 °C) and possesses high tolerance to drought and heat. It is suitable for container cultivation, hedges, and mass plantings as a honey plant.
