The variety is a compact shrub, the height of which usually does not exceed 1.5 meters. A distinctive feature of the plant is the color of the leaves, which varies from yellow-green to lime.

The pinkish-purple flowers are gathered in paniculate inflorescences 15–20 cm long and have a strong honey aroma. The plant blooms from July to September and attracts pollinators.

The variety is characterized by winter hardiness (USDA zone 5–9). To maintain shape and abundant flowering, annual heavy spring pruning is required. It prefers sunny areas with well-drained fertile soils and is suitable for container cultivation.
