Andrea is a compact, evergreen shrub with a height of 20–30 cm. The variety belongs to the bud-blooming group (Knospenblüher), which means its buds do not open fully, ensuring long-lasting decorative appeal.
The plant has dark green needle-like foliage and pink flowers. During the period from August to September, the heather retains its decorative appearance, and the variety demonstrates resistance to diseases and is capable of withstanding frosts down to -20°C.
The crop is used in landscaping for creating group plantings and borders, and is also grown in containers and flower pots.
