The plant forms a compact bush 20 to 50 cm in height with evergreen foliage of bright green or medium green color. It belongs to the bud-flowering group: the flowers do not open fully, retaining their color for a long period.

The variety is intended for cultivation in rock gardens, borders, and containers. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with acidic, loose, and humus-rich soils and is a honey plant. The buds are suitable for use in floral arrangements, as they retain their color when dried.
