The variety forms compact cushion-like clumps 10–15 cm in height and up to 45 cm in width. Leaves are lanceolate, serrated, deep green in color, and acquire a reddish-purple hue under intense lighting. The plant is used for rock gardens, borders, retaining walls, and container cultivation.
Flowering is prolonged, occurring from June to September. Flowers are star-shaped, lilac-pink with a lighter center. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness, prefers well-drained soils, and lighting from full sun to partial shade.
