Campanula x haylodgensis is a perennial alpine plant with a compact, often trailing or cascading growth habit. The bush height is 10–20 cm, and the width is 20–30 cm. The plant's leaves have a rounded shape and green color.

The flowers are double, lavender-blue or dark blue in color. The flowering period occurs from July to September. The plant prefers well-drained soils, sunny or semi-shaded locations, and possesses moderate winter hardiness.

This hybrid is used for container gardening, rock garden design, hanging baskets, and creating borders.
