The variety is registered with the Royal Horticultural Society as Campanula × haylodgensis W. Brockbank 'Haydug'. Plants of this hybrid group are herbaceous perennials that form compact ground-covering clumps or mats 5 to 20 cm in height and up to 30 cm in width.

The variety is used in ornamental gardening for cultivation in containers, hanging baskets, on rock gardens, and as a border plant. A detailed description of economic traits, such as disease resistance or specific agrotechnical requirements, is absent.
