The variety Rokoko belongs to the hybrid species Campanula × haylodgensis, obtained by crossing the Carpathian bellflower (C. carpatica) and the fairy's-thimble (C. cochleariifolia).

Plants of this group are traditionally used in ornamental gardening as pot cultures and are suitable for growing in hanging baskets and as part of compositions on alpine rock gardens.
