The plant has a widely spreading growth habit. Dark green ovate leaves are pubescent and have deeply serrated margins; in autumn, they may acquire a purple tint. Stems are characterized by rigidity and resistance to lodging, therefore they do not require staking.

Bell-shaped flowers about 5 cm long have a light lilac color with a darker base and a faint aroma. Buds are dark purple. Up to 30 flowers can form on each branch.

Flowering lasts from June to September or October. The variety is sterile and does not produce self-sown seeds. The plant is susceptible to rust, powdery mildew, leaf spot, as well as damage by slugs and snails. The variety is suitable for cut flowers and decorative garden design.
