Variety description

The plant forms upright bushes with lanceolate or heart-shaped green leaves. The height of the Adenophora is 45–70 cm, while forms belonging to Campanula carpatica reach 25–45 cm. The flowers are colored in violet or lavender-violet tones, have a bell shape, are often nodding, and possess a light fragrance.

The flowering period lasts from July to September; for Adenophora, repeat flowering is possible if withered inflorescences are removed. The variety possesses winter hardiness in zone 4 or 5 and moderate resistance to powdery mildew and root rots. Suitable for cultivation in pots, use in flower beds, mixed borders, and rock gardens.
