The variety is an annual form of Campanula medium with a full growing cycle of 15–19 weeks. Stem height varies from 60 to 90 cm. The flowers are bell-shaped, 4–7 cm in diameter, and have a deep-blue color. The variety is characterized by high uniformity of development and long vase life.

The plant is sensitive to day length, requiring long days to initiate flowering. Stems require support in open field conditions to protect against lodging. Under conditions of excess moisture and improper growing practices, there is a risk of root rot. There is also an updated version of the variety called Champion II Blue, characterized by increased uniformity of development.
