Dioica 88 is a dioecious plant with a total growth cycle of 140 to 170 days. The variety is characterized by significant height, reaching 3–4 meters, and possesses high adaptability to various climatic conditions, including the Mediterranean type.

The plant has a high yield potential for stalks, traditionally used for the production of fiber and shives. In recent years, the variety has also been actively cultivated for the production of biomass and inflorescences with a cannabidiol (CBD) content of 4% to 8%. The THC content in the plant does not exceed 0.2%.

The variety serves as a phytosanitary crop, contributing to the regeneration and purification of the soil. In addition to the technical use of fiber in industry and construction, female plants are used in the production of oils, extracts, and other products containing CBD.
