The variety is a spontaneous mutation (chimera) of the parent variety Pilar. The variegated foliage is due to genetic characteristics affecting chlorophyll synthesis, causing the plant to have a slower growth rate and lower biomass compared to the original variety.
The plant's chemical profile is characterized by a high content of cannabidiol with a Δ9-THC psychoactive compound level of less than 0.4%. Propagation of the variety is carried out primarily through vegetative means, as offspring lose the variegated phenotype and turn green during sexual crossing.
The plant is sensitive to fungal diseases at the cutting rooting stage. The variety is officially registered as an ornamental plant and is not intended for mass agricultural use for the production of fiber or seeds.
