The plant is a hybrid of Capsicum frutescens and Capsicum annuum species. In container culture, it reaches a height of 45 to 120 cm, is distinguished by a robust structure and abundant fruiting, requiring the installation of supports for the branches.
The fruits have an unusual shape, resembling long thin tails or claws; their length is 20–35 cm. The color changes from light green at the stage of technical maturity to deep red at full ripening.
The variety belongs to the medium-hot or hot category with a pungency level of 20 000–60 000 SHU. The ripening period from flowering to harvest takes 70–90 days. The fruits are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, drying, pickling, and preparing sauces.
