The plant reaches a height of 1.2 meters. Leaves of young plants have purple veins, which can become dark green in mature specimens. The flowers of the plant are purple.
The fruits are heart-shaped and approximately 2–3 cm in size. During the ripening process, the color changes from black to red. The fruits are relatively thick-walled, characterized as medium-pungent or pungent, and retain the aroma of the parent varieties. Suitable for canning, stuffing, and drying.
