The hot pepper is a spreading bush 60–120 cm tall with black branches and dark green foliage. The fruits are elongated, up to 5 cm long, almost black at technical maturity, and turn red upon full ripening. The variety is late-maturing with a vegetation period of 120–170 days and a pungency of 15 000–100 000 SHU.
The sweet hybrid Black knight F1 is a high-yielding greenhouse plant. Its fruits are distinguished by an elongated shape up to 25 cm and change color from green to glossy purple-black during the ripening process.
