The fruits are round in shape, 2–4 cm in diameter, and change color from green to bright red upon ripening. The flesh is dense and juicy. Fruit pungency is rated as medium, although it may vary depending on growing conditions and soil composition.
Due to their shape and density, the fruits are traditionally used for stuffing followed by grilling. The variety is also suitable for drying, pickling, and fresh consumption.
