According to international registers, the Dakar variety is registered as a pepper bred by Zeraim Gedera Ltd. Official catalogs contain only identification data for the protection of breeder's rights without a detailed description of agrotechnical characteristics.
In Ukrainian sources, the variety is described as an early-maturing (95–105 days) determinate pepper with a height of 50–70 cm. The fruits are of the blocky cuboid type with a weight of 200–220 g and walls of 6–8 mm; the color changes from green to red. Resistance to Alternaria, late blight, and blossom-end rot is claimed.
