The plant is compact, short, 30 to 60 cm in height; when grown as a perennial, it can reach 1.5 meters. Belongs to the Piquin group. The variety is mid-season, with a maturation period of 80–100 days.
Fruits are small, narrow, 1 to 4 cm long, growing vertically upward. In technical maturity, they are green; in biological maturity, they are bright red. Pungency levels range from 30,000 to 150,000 Scoville heat units.
The variety is demanding of sunlight, heat, and soil quality, and requires good drainage. Used for cultivation in pots, on windowsills, balconies, in greenhouses, and in open field. Suitable for consumption fresh and dried, as well as for making sauces and seasonings.
