The plants of the variety are strong, vigorous and compact, with good foliage that protects the fruits from sunburn. The ripening period is on average 70 days after transplanting, although in comparative trials it may be classified as later.
The fruits have a blocky shape, usually 3- or 4-chambered. At technical maturity, the color varies from light to dark green; at full maturity, the fruits become bright red. The taste of the fruits is sweet and mild, the walls are thick and fleshy.
The variety has resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), although a number of studies note its susceptibility to bacterial spot and tobacco etch virus (TEV). The plant is suitable for cultivation in open field, vegetable gardens, and containers.
