The plant belongs to the tall category, with height varying from 45–60 cm to 80–120 cm. The fruits have an elongated conical shape, often with a distinct ribbed surface. Their length is from 15 to 35 cm, and weight varies from 110 to 300 g. At technical maturity, the fruits are green; at biological maturity, they are deep red, with a wall thickness of 3–4 to 7–8 mm.
The variety is early-maturing or mid-early, with a ripening period of 70 to 115 days from transplanting or sowing. The fruits have high aromatic properties, a crunchy texture, and a sweet taste without bitterness. The variety is characterized by good yield and resistance to temperature stress and a number of diseases.
Traditionally used for frying, baking, stuffing, pickling, and fresh consumption. It is found both as an open-pollinated variety and as an F1 hybrid from individual producers. It has variants with yellow and purple fruits.
