The variety is the result of a cross between the Permagreen sweet pepper and the Early Jalapeño hot pepper. The period from germination to fruit ripening is 65–90 days. The plant is characterized by its compactness and is well-suited for cultivation in containers and greenhouses.
The fruits have an elongated jalapeño shape 5–9 cm in length, possessing juicy flesh with a fruity aroma. The pungency level varies from 4,000 to 80,000 Scoville heat units. The variety is used in cooking for preparing sauces, pickling, fresh consumption, and also as an ornamental crop.
