The hybrid Indus-11 (Popti) is an early-mid maturing variety, ripening 60–65 days after transplanting. The plant has dense foliage and forms shiny green, blocky, four-lobed fruits. Fruit size is 8–10 cm in length and 4–5 cm in diameter with a weight of 90–100 g.
This hybrid is intended for commercial cultivation in open field and protected cultivation, and is characterized by keeping quality and transportability. The Popti F1 variety, described as a compact plant 50–60 cm tall suitable for growing in containers and on balconies, is also available for retail sale.
