The variety was developed at the Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute with the aim of increasing the nutritional value of the produce. Breeding work was conducted with the participation of the IAEA and FAO using methods aimed at improving the quality of vegetable crops.
The variety was used in scientific research dedicated to the cytological analysis of meiotic behavior of pollen mother cells of eight pepper genotypes under water deficit conditions. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant and data on disease resistance are not presented in open sources.
