The plant reaches a height of 30 to 50 cm. The flowering period occurs in the summer months, when inconspicuous spike-like inflorescences appear. The variety is evergreen depending on the climatic zone.

The variety is used for landscaping gardens, rockeries, borders, as well as for growing in containers and as a ground cover plant. The plant is undemanding, resistant to Verticillium wilt and deer damage.

Cultivation requires moderately moist, well-drained soils. It prefers locations with partial shade or sun, while poorly tolerating water stagnation.
