Variety description

The plant possesses semi-evergreen foliage and forms narrow dark green leaves with a contrasting light border. The flowering period occurs during the summer and early autumn months, with inflorescences consisting of inconspicuous spikes in pale brown or beige shades.

The variety is intended for cultivation in partial shade on moderately moist, organic-rich soils. The plant is characterized by limited winter hardiness, therefore in temperate climates it is often used as a container plant or requires winter covering. It tolerates winter waterlogging poorly.

It is used in landscape design for creating borders, decorating rock gardens, and garden flower beds. It is well-suited for both solitary and group plantings and is valued for its decorative variegated foliage.
