The Treasure Island variety is a decorative herbaceous plant with variegated foliage. The leaves are of medium width with coloration transitioning from green in the center to creamy-white at the edges, with a yellowish hue at the beginning of the growing season that eventually changes to pure white.

The plant forms compact, dense clumps 15 to 25 cm in height and up to 30 cm in width. This slowly spreading groundcover is deciduous and requires partial shade or shade, as well as fresh or moist, well-drained soils.

The variety features winter hardiness in USDA zones 5–7. It is used in landscape design for creating borders, decorating shaded gardens, and growing in containers.
