Variety description

The plant forms dense tufted clumps. Leaves are linear, arching, dark green with a characteristic creamy-white margin. Inflorescences are brown, inconspicuous; the flowering period extends from spring to mid-summer.

The variety is intended for landscaping mixed borders, rock gardens, alpine gardens, as well as for cultivation in containers. Prefers partial shade, loose soils with a neutral or slightly acidic reaction; tolerates direct sun and moisture stagnation poorly. Winter hardiness is assessed as limited, requires cover in cold climates.
