The plant is a compact deciduous subshrub ranging from 25 to 100 cm in height. It forms bright blue or purple flowers that attract bees and butterflies. The flowering period occurs in late summer and early autumn, predominantly from August to October.
For normal growth, the variety requires sunny areas and well-drained soil, not tolerating waterlogging. In cold climates, the above-ground part often freezes, therefore annual spring pruning is recommended to stimulate the growth of new shoots.
The variety is used as an ornamental garden crop for bordering, flower beds, container gardening, and individual plantings.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
