The 'Cool Blue' variety (breeder's reference 'Huico02') is a mutation of the 'Skylark' variety. The shrub has small oval or elliptical shiny leaves of dark green color with an irregular creamy-white margin.
The plant forms dense paniculate inflorescences of sky-blue or violet hue. The flowering period occurs in April and May. The crop reaches a height of 50 cm to 1.5 m.
The variety is moderately winter hardy and withstands temperature drops down to -15 °C. The plant requires well-drained soils and is suitable for growing in containers or landscape compositions.
