The variety is a mutation of the Skylark cultivar. The plant forms a compact bush 50–70 cm in height and width, which allows for its use in container gardening as well as for planting in mixed borders.
The plant possesses winter hardiness down to -15 °C. It prefers sunny areas with well-drained soils and requires summer pruning to maintain the shape of the bush.
