The Martine series belongs to the plumed celosia group, classified as a crop for cut flowers. The plants possess unusual "fringed" inflorescences, which give them a decorative silhouette. The series includes color variations, including purple, salmon, scarlet, and yellow colors.

According to UPOV tests, the variety belongs to the medium-height group. Compared to other professional series, representatives of this group may have a longer vegetation period and require humidity and ventilation control when grown in greenhouses.
