The Celkopured variety is used as a comparison sample for describing morphological traits of Celosia. The upper part of the plant stem has a purple-red color. The variety also serves as a standard for measurements of leaf blade length during expert trials.

Specialized data on plant height, maturity group, or disease resistance are not available. Cultivation of this type of Celosia within the framework of trials requires the installation of supporting structures in the form of multi-tier wire mesh.
