Variety description

The variety belongs to the Bombay series and is an annual plant with a height of 40 to 100 cm. The inflorescences are large, dense, with a characteristic 'cockscomb' texture. Round stems facilitate transport and reduce waste in commercial cultivation.

The plant is a facultative short-day species; the optimal day length is 12–13 hours. It is characterized by increased resistance to stress conditions, high yield, and the ability to retain shape and color as a dried flower. In a vase, cut inflorescences last for about three weeks.

When growing, it is recommended to avoid damage to the root system, so direct sowing into trays followed by transplanting to the permanent location before the development of a dense root system is preferred. Due to the risk of fungal diseases, overhead irrigation should be avoided during the flowering period.
