The Bombay Gold variety belongs to a series of cut celosias with a growing period of 11–13 weeks. The plant reaches a height of 100–120 cm and forms flat triangular inflorescences of a golden-yellow color, with side lengths of about 15 cm and a depth of 2 cm. The stem has a round cross-section, which ensures stability during transportation.
The plant is intended for professional flower production in greenhouses and can be used as a dried flower. The variety is distinguished by high uniformity and stability of inflorescence shape. In a vase, cut flowers retain their decorative quality for 7 to 14 days.
The variety is sensitive to damage to the taproot, so transplanting should be carried out at early stages; pinching is not recommended. Lack of moisture leads to premature flowering and a reduction in plant height. The variety is susceptible to Fusarium, powdery mildew, and Botrytis.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
